Questions, answered
Which offers can I make? Upsell: volume discounts (buy more of one product, pay less per item) and cart upsell (one more item offered in the cart, at a special price). Cross-sell: frequently bought together (add-ons next to a product, with an optional discount). Bundles: a set of products sold together for less.
How does an offer get onto my store? Each kind has its own theme block. The app opens your theme editor with the block ready; place it and press Save. Volume, bundle and bought-together blocks go on the product page; the cart upsell goes on the cart page, and an app embed adds it to the cart drawer.
Is the price at checkout really the same? Yes. Every offer is a Shopify automatic discount, priced by our discount Function from the shopper's real cart, using the same pricing rules the block uses to show its price.
Do different sizes or colours count together? Yes. Variants of the same product count together, so one small and one large shirt earn the “Buy 2” tier.
How are bundles packed? Each product stays its own line in the order, with its own SKU and stock. The discount applies once every product in the bundle is in the cart.
Does it work with my other discounts? Offers combine with order and shipping discounts. If an item also qualifies for another product discount, Shopify applies the one that saves the shopper more.
Will it slow my store down? No. Offers are drawn by your theme from data saved in your store, and the one small script loads no libraries and never calls our servers.
Which languages does it speak? Shopper-facing text comes in English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), Italian, Dutch, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified), Turkish and Polish, and you can rewrite any heading or button.
Do you store my customers' data? No. Your offers are saved in your own Shopify store as discounts. We never collect data about your shoppers.
What does it cost? Nothing is charged right now. Any charge would appear on your Shopify bill, and only after you approve it.
